Anjelica Scannura
Anjelica Scannura is a comic, actress and dancer. She was a finalist in Toronto's Comedy Brawl 2019 and has performed in the Burbank, Palm Springs and Boston Comedy Festivals. She is thrilled to have Winnipeg Comedy Festival 2022 as her Canadian Comedy Festival debut!
She's appeared in Disney's Camp Rock, CTV's Satisfaction, APTN's Renegade Press, The CW's Reign, Little Italy, CBC's Exhibitionists and Frankie Drake Mysteries, to name a few. She won Bellydancer of the Universe in 2013 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2014.
She recently joined the Festival Players as their Comedy Festival Artistic Associate, and is co-producing Prince Edward County's first ever comedy festival this summer.
