Omar Khan

Winnipeg born and bred (not bread, although he does love a good piece of toast) Omar has been making his mark on the Canadian theatre and film scene for the past 5 years. On stage he has played classic roles in David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, Harold Pinter's Betrayal and George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion. On screen he can be seen in a recurring role in the first season of Less Than Kind and meeting his untimely end by basketball-to-the-head in Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. In a blatant effort to impress you we'll tell you that he has shaken hands with Ben Kingsley, Dennis Quaid, Mark McKinney and all of the Tragically Hip. True story. This is Omar's first time at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival both as a performer and (gasp!) an audience member.
