Sherri D. Sutton

Sherri's one-woman shows Don't Make Fun of Jesus and Taking Out the White Trash! have played to sold-out crowds in New York, Atlanta, Canada, Malaysia, Wales and Indonesia! Sherri has opened for Roseanne Barr and Kevin Hart and recently performed at L.A.'s famous Comedy Store. She spends much of her time straddling the border making a name for herself in the US and Canada and has become a favorite on the Canadian Fringe circuit. Sherri's fans have called her "the white Wanda Sykes" and although she has been referred to as "the voice of the gay community as Richard Pryor was the voice of the black community", her comedy transcends sexuality and gender. Sherri talks about issues that most comics can't touch and the only time she has ever offended another group of people is when she left them out of her set! If Lisa Lampanelli and Ellen DeGeneres had a kid, it would be Sherri D. Sutton. Recently, Sherri shot a TV pilot, Funhouse, with creator's Chris Lowell of Private Practice, and Brian McElhaney of the famous sketch group Britanick. Currently, she is working on turning her experience of surviving six years in a cult into a TV series.
