Charlie Demers
Charlie Demers is a comedian, author, & voice actor born & raised in Vancouver. A favourite on CBC’s The Debaters for 20 years & running, he is a twice Juno-nominated, headlining stand-up comic & the co-star of two Emmy-winning Netflix animated series — Beat Bugs and The Last Kids on Earth — as well as providing the voice of ‘Poutine’ on Will Arnett’s adult animated series Super Team Canada on Crave. He is the author of three books of essays, four novels, & has contributed writing to Corner Gas Animated & This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He lives happily with his wife, their two children, & a medium-sized dog.
