Brad Oswald
For almost 30 years, Brad Oswald was employed as the TV critic at the Winnipeg Free Press - and "employed" is a deliberate word choice, because it would hardly be fair to say anyone "worked" as a TV critic. He watched TV for a living, which means he's probably pretty bitter now that he's retired and spends his time watching TV and NOT getting paid for it. Back in the waning years of the last century, he won Rumor's Comedy Club's Funniest Person with a Day Job contest; these days he satisfies his deep-seated yearning for attention and approval by performing with the aptly named local band Fixed Income.
