Sav Jonsa
Sav Jonsa is a reporter for APTN, and a Two-Spirit Michif with maternal roots in the Parisien family of St. Norbert, Winnipeg. They’re also English and Irish through their mother and Hungarian through their father. They are grateful to still be residing in the heart of the Red River Métis homeland, where their ancestors fought in the Victory of Frog Plain and the Red River Resistance. Jonsa is an award-winning reporter, and was a finalist for the JHR/CAJ Emerging Indigenous Journalist Award in 2024.
