Doug Darling is a Winnipeg-based storyteller, corporate video director, and the self-appointed funniest person in his household — a title fiercely contested by no one, yet somehow still not unanimous.
As the founder of Tripwire, he's spent over 15 years helping organizations find and tell their most compelling stories. A former touring musician turned, workshop coach and keynote speaker, he's no stranger to a stage — though stand-up comedy is a different beast entirely, where making people laugh has to be intentional rather than accidental.
His best material has been workshopped at the dinner table to an audience of three who are legally obligated to love him — and met with a reliable mix of genuine laughter and heavy eye rolls, often from the same person, mid-joke.
