Martha Chaves
Martha Chaves is an award-winning stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and keynote speaker who has been making Canada laugh for over two decades. In 2023, she was part of the Gala The Root of All Evil at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, which earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination—showcasing her knack for being part of something great. Named one of TLN’s Ten Most Influential Hispanic Canadians and awarded Best Stand-Up Comic at the Canadian Comedy Awards, Martha tours coast to coast. She’s a regular on CBC’s Because News and Laugh Out Loud and a veteran of Just For Laughs, the WCF, and more.
