A born and raised prairie girl, Terri grew up on a farm near Preeceville, SK and loved the spotlight from an early age. After high school she moved to Alberta where she earned a diploma in Theatre Studies and worked as an actor until a contract brought her to Winnipeg nearly a decade ago and she's been proud to call the city home ever since. How did she get into broadcasting? "I was looking for something more stable than acting!"
Switching gears, Terri quickly earned a broadcasting diploma. Her first gig in the industry was working as a copywriter at 92 CitiFM and the former KY58. It was there she met Don Percy who took her under his wing as his new morning side-kick at 1290 CFRW. She spent a few years in morning radio, a couple more in morning television and has even had the opportunity to take to the skies as a helicopter traffic reporter.
