Skinny Kookoo (Joyce Delaronde)
Joyce is a Métis filmmaker and comedian, all the way from Duck Bay, Manitoba. She wrote, directed, produced and starred in the Skinny Kookoo Comedy Sketch Show. This film screened at WAFF where she was nominated for 'Best New Talent' and TOSketchfest where her film was nominated for ‘Best of the Fest’. It also aired on Shaw and a shorter version was screened at the Gimli Film Festival. She participated in the Reelworld E20 program (2020) and the Whistler Indigenous Filmmaker Fellowship (2021).
