Fraser Young
Fraser Young is a stand-up comedian with a style all his own. Although he started out in Toronto, he has headlined clubs across North America, and as far away as Hong Kong. Fraser has written for several television shows, including Almost Heroes, The NHL Awards, and The Latest Buzz, which earned him a Writer’s Guild Award nomination. He now works as a writer for George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, airing on CBC @ 11pm Mon-Fri. After releasing his first comedy CD Everyone Loves A Smug Bastard, Fraser was invited to the Just For Laughs festival as the only Canadian in the New Faces showcase, featuring the top breakout talent from around the world. Not your standard setup-punchline comedian, his act involves mixing unique observations into his eccentric, anecdotal comedy. With his distinctive voice, stage presence, and clever outlook, Fraser Young is a comedian you will not soon forget.
