Perry Perlmutar
Perry is a stand-up comedian with a strong background in sketch and improv. His stand-up material covers a whole range of topics - from his experience as a Jewish man married to a Muslim woman to his former day job working as an English Second Language teacher. His unique perspective and hilarious stories make Perry’s stand-up material memorable and original. His extreme likeability on stage has also made Perry a favourite in the comedy clubs around Toronto. You may also recognize him from his appearances on Muchmusic’s hit series Video on Trial. In 2011, Perry’s was featured in his own Comedy Now! stand-up special on CTV and the Comedy Network. He has appeared at The Halifax Comedy Festival (2006), The Sudbury Comedy Festival (2008), The Niagara Comedy Fest (2008) and the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal (2008). Perry has also toured across Canada in 2008 and 2009 opening for Jeremy Hotz in What a Miserable tour this is.
