After just over six years on the Winnipeg Comedy Scene, Melanie Dahling has become very busy with a number of creative projects. During rehearsals for the 2015 Playwright's festival she was flown to Vegas to participate in Expedia's Sinternship challenge. Shortly after, she was featured in two shows for Toronto's Shedot comedy festival as well as the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
Over the summer she wrote, produced and starred in Biggest Little Child Star for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival which received a 4-star review in the Winnipeg Free Press. She is currently on post production for her directorial debut - a short film she wrote and produced with the Winnipeg Film Group's First Film Fund. She is very excited to be back at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and to see what else 2016 brings.
